Yes, it’s only fourteen days until the second Spalding Model Engineering and Hobby Show opens its doors to the public. The organisers are stepping up a gear in their preparations for the event and everything is coming together for a great show. This year’s event will be bigger and better and features many exhibitors and trade stands that are new to the area.
One of the virtues of the Springfields Events Centre as a venue is that a visit to the show can be combined with a visit to Springfields Shopping Centre, a purpose-built shopping village with 58 big name shops including M&S Outlet, Cotton Traders, Clarks, Denby, Costa, Jeff Banks, Mountain Warehouse and many more. Moreover, part of the same complex is Springfield Festival Gardens, over 25 acres of themed, specialist and educational gardens with a wide variety of sculpture, water features and a ride-on railway. What’s more, the gardens are completely free, except for the railway which is charged.
Make a day of your visit to the Spalding Model Engineering and Hobby Show by combining it with a visit to the shops and a stroll in the garden – there is something for everyone at Spalding on 25th and 26th April!
